Elumenus VISION™ Solid State Lighting Line gains UL® certification
 

Indianapolis — Elumenus, an original equipment manufacturer of industrial and commercial lighting solutions since 2008, introduced its new VISION™ line of solid state lighting products in early November of 2009.  As a part of this launch, the Elumenus team determined the need for continuing differentiation of its products from other inferior LED products on the market.  Working closely with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) during the testing process, Elumenus demonstrated the superior performance of its Vision™ products in safety for the U.S. market as it had done previously with other prominent European testing laboratories.  “Once again our products have passed with flying colors all of the requirements for providing our customers with the assurance of a safe and environmentally friendly balance of ultra efficient lighting products,” said Ken Rainbolt, Elumenus CEO.

According to John Fee, Chief Technical Officer for Elumenus, this testing process has significantly demonstrated the importance of a 30 year track record and understanding of the engineering and manufacturing process.   “We never had any doubt that our products would meet or exceed all expectations during these series of tests”, Fee commented adding; “the products performed as designed in every aspect”.  The Elumenus VISION™ line provides the most energy efficient lighting solutions in the United States today.  This accomplishment will be a welcome certification for Elumenus’ base of Fortune 500 corporations around the world.
